It's been a tough 18 months for employees. Overall the PR sector has been pretty resilient and has looked after its own. We've done the same at Here Be Dragons and we pride ourselves on recruiting, nurturing and retaining young talent. But, sometimes you have to read between the lines and understand that people, particularly junior members of staff, are coming out of the pandemic with a slightly different view of the world.

That's why we've launched a new fund to back our junior members of staff if they decide to leave the agency and start their own business. Sad though it is to lose them, we respect their creative bravery and are giving them funds, equipment and mentoring to achieve their dreams of becoming business owners. No equity, no strings.

One day hopefully they will come back, hire us as their agency or at least talk us up as a great place to work that looked after their personal development first and foremost.
