Creative comms agency Here Be Dragons has won a three-way competitive pitch to work with Kopparberg this summer.

PRWeek UK understands that McCann was also involved in the pitch process; however, the agency did not respond when contacted for comment.

The project brief centres on helping Kopparberg drive “long-term loyalty” among customers by activating the brand’s summer campaign, alongside its other integrated agencies, and showcasing both the brand and its products.

Here Be Dragons will also work to ensure Kopparberg is top of mind via press office and influencer relations in the coming months.

PRWeek UK understands that the brief is worth six figures.

Here Be Dragons founder Paul McEntee said: “This summer brief from Kopparberg is brave, fun and different, and that’s the type of work we want to do.”

Kopparberg’s marketing director, Rob Salvesen, said: “It’s a big summer for Kopparberg. We’ve got one of our boldest campaigns yet going out the door and it’s got a message that is really going to resonate with the UK public this summer. Here Be Dragons has got the creative and earned media firepower that we need.”

Kopparberg worked with Tin Man Communications on a project basis last year. When contacted by PRWeek, the agency confirmed this, adding that it “declined the opportunity to pitch for the new work this time around”.

Other clients of Here Be Dragons include Beavertown Brewery and Pure Audio.
